MSCN Film Music Festivals Academy wants to improve the prospects of all capable composers regardless of their location or financial background. For many emerging composers, the opportunity to be supported to present their music at a prestigious film music festival is just a dream. This is why we are offering sponsorship opportunities for supporting a mentee in our Festivals Mentorship Programme. Sponsors can either remain anonymous or establish a scholarship in their name, but the concept remains the same: a place for the most talented to be supported and mentored at the beginning of their career. In particular, we welcome sponsoring of composers from less-represented backgrounds in the industry. MSCN strives to support a 75%/25% majority of women composers, many of whom will not have the opportunity to apply without a sponsorship.
