1st MSCN International Film Music Prize Application

Step 1: to apply for the MSCN International Film Music Prize, please ensure that you have first paid the application fee HERE and downloaded the submission film. In order to validate your application, the name and email addresses used in the payment portal and application form below must match.

Step 2: once the fee is paid, a download link for the submission film to score will be shown on the payment receipt page. Please download the file, import it into your DAW or other compatible software, and compose and mix your original music to the scene.

Step 3: enter your details and a non-expiring link your submission materials in the form below before the deadline (16 June 2026). All submission materials (including the submission video and cue sheet) must be labeled with an anonymous 6-character name (letters and/or numbers only).

All valid applications will be carefully considered. An email from MSCN will inform you if your submission has been shortlisted.

The Gold and Silver awards will be announced at Soundtrack_Cologne 23 14 - 17 July 2026. Good luck!
